BlueMeadow Labsan app label of Pitt Build Ltd · Buntingford

Small apps that keep the whole thing on your phone.

BlueMeadow builds Android apps with nothing behind them: no account, no connection, no adverts, nothing to buy. The current one is Shapewise, which tells you how steady your hand actually is.

The studio

A score you can argue with is better than one you have to trust

Any app that grades you has to answer an awkward question: why that number? Most do not answer it. They hand you a percentage, keep the formula to themselves, and rely on the number feeling plausible — which works right up until it says 62% for a line you thought was excellent.

Shapewise draws your line over the ideal one every time, so the score always comes with the evidence. If it says you drifted, you can see where. That is also why there is nothing to buy in the app: an accuracy test with a paid advantage would be measuring your wallet.

No adverts between attempts either. A game whose whole appeal is "one more go" should not put a fifteen-second wait in front of the retry button.

SHAPEWISE

Draw It. Measure It.

IDEAL YOUR PATH NEW BEST

How steady is your hand, really? Draw a shape with your finger and get scored on how close you came to perfect. Start with the classic freehand circle, then take on squares, triangles, stars and more — each with its own way of catching your wobbles.

Every attempt is measured instantly and scored as a percentage, with your line shown against the ideal so you can see exactly where you drifted. Chase a higher score on each shape, keep a personal best for every one, and watch your accuracy climb as your hand learns the motion. No timers, no pressure, no complications.

The same line, three honest scores

You cannot draw here — the pink line below was generated, not traced, so nobody is being marked. What it shows is the thing behind every percentage in an app like this: "how close was that" is not one measurement. Three reasonable ways of scoring the identical line disagree, sometimes by fifteen points or more.

A generated line, three formulas and nothing to trace — your finger never touches this. Shapewise is the part where the line is yours, the shape changes, and the number is worth beating.
